Today we decided to ignore both the city beach as well as Lazzaretto and Bombarde. Instead, we took a gamble to find some place else. We ended up at must be the most gorgeous location oc the district!
Behind a few rows of pine trees and forest paths, there apparently lies a hidden beach of unimaginable beauty. The best way to describe it it to look at it as an deserted battlefield between forest and beach. The two seamlessly seem to flow over into each other and that brings with pure paradise.
I've must have swum for hours there. The atmosphere was perfect; Not too crowded, not too hot, unnatural clean...This is why I choose Alghero as my holiday destination!
After some very non Italian selfmade hamburgers, we returned to the same spot only to find oit it's even more gorgeous with an Alghero sunset. This is the absolute highlight of Alghero for me so far. Beautiful.
