Vacation has started, so labels and producers are starting to put out the greenest pieces of the crop these couple of months! June is the beginning of tune-paradise, and I can say without doubt that the summer has kicked off big! For some reason the remixes where terrific this month. Enjoy.
01. Above & Beyond - Thing Called Love (Mat Zo Remix) - Anjunabeats
Yes, it's Mat Zo again! With last months Superman, the young producer has accomplished to reach the number one spot a second time! I can easisly say that it's more than deserved, for such remixes as this one are very rare! Mat Zo has landed down and fortified himself into the EDM scene. He has managed to turn his talents into a typical own sound, which is not only unique, but also incredibly pleasant.
Above & Beyond their tracks are always hard to remix due to their big, overall respected contents. Mat Zo still managed to improve the track. He again uses his own, subtle yet overwhelming touch to bring the tune to an higher level. I can easily say that this is the best remix I heard so far (no surprise it's the first remix to reach first place). Big contender for this years number 1 overall spot! Thanks Mat Zo.

Extinction
FML.
My laptop crashed for the 100th time, but now the piece of crap refuses to come back to life! I've lost everything. Typing this on a ancient HP laptop now.
Luckily, I've backed up all my music and files...6 months ago...
40GB of music, GONE. Not All is lost, however! My girlfriend found an very useful program which enables you to transfer files from your mp3 device, in this case an iPone, to your hhd.
It's called Sharepod.
In less than minutes, I got my sweet sweet top 10 tracks back, which I luckily kept on my device.
My laptop will be repaired and sent back to my lair in 3-4 weeks... But thanks to this fossil laptop, I will be able to keep up with the current house scene and assemble my top 10 for June.

Sunday Has Survived | Natural Selection: Top 10 May
The best came at the end of this solid month of sun! Here in Holland, the sun was ruling the days. So you'll feel a lot of summery tunes in this one!
01. Dominik Eulberg - Der Tanz Der Gluehwuermchen (Original Mix) - Traum
The reason I bought "Diorama", was because of a few things. I have a fascination for mother earth, and it's beautiful natural life. The second reason was, and still is, that I already new the creator of the album. Once, in one of Jaytech's podcast, I heard him open with this track. I immediately felt in love. Dominik Eulberg is quite similar to me, in the way that we both love Gaia and EDM. He has managed to combine the two into something both truly unique and wonderful. "Der Tanz" is a fine example of how music can still inspire. I tip my hat off to Eulberg for this one!
02. Boys Will Be Boys - We Tell (Original Mix) - Musical Freedom
03. Mat Zo - Superman (Original Mix) - Anjunabeats
04. Third Party - Duel (Original Mix) - SIZE
05. Filterheadz - Everything Explained (Original Mix) - Doorn
06. Moonbeam - Hate Is The Killer (Arty Remix) - Moonbeam
07. Steve Aoki & Laidback Luke - Turbulence (Sidney Samson Remix) - Mixmash
08. Swedish House Mafia - Save The World (Extended Dub) - Virgin
09. T. Williams, Terri Walker & Paul Woolford - Heartbeat (Paul Woolford Edit) - Local Action (Phonica)
10. PROFF - Steps (Original Mix) - Anjunadeep

Jura (SHS) - Something Has Survived 004 by ThisIsJura
More than a month between 003 and this one. Busy busy busy weeks.
Anyways, I tried to put some underground clever tunes in here. I understand nobody wants to listen to a set with only the biggest releases. I made this mix for you to discover new and refreshing music!
Happy listening,
Jura
