This track keeps ringing in my head since I've heard it at Above & Beyond's radio show, "Trance Around The World". I've written a whole page about it's message:

Monday Has Survived | The Rex: Allure
Been waiting for a long time. But finally this masterpiece has come in my possession! "Allure" by Dezza, is very progressive of nature. But it's so insanely fresh. The sound of the whole thing is incredibly pleasurable. I can't wait to put in in my mix!

Saturday Has Survived | Evolutionary: Who Is Wearing The Cap
When I post this, it will already be Friday. But nontheless I wanted to share this track with you guys. I've just listened to the entire album from Sander Van Doorn, "Eleve11". I wanted to wait till I've listened to it, before doing this track of the week. I just knew there was going to be one track that will dominate. And I was right:
Combining Sander Van Doorn's epic trance riff skills with Laidback Luke's gift for the making sick but smooth basslines. The track is a perfect example of two people combining their skills. You can clearly hear the blending of sounds and lifelong careers. I would love to hear more from them. By the way, the track is named after a twitter picture from the two while making the track where the two happened to look exactly the same. Luke was recognized by his cap, hence the title.
One of the many tracks that I'll be listening a lot to this year!

Monday Has Survived (The Rex): David vs. Goliath
When Swedish House Mafia announced their remix for Coldplay, unofficial bootlegs and mashups started to arise everywhere. All of them sound pretty obvious and messy, unlike the official Swedish House Mafia rework. Now let me start by saying that it is most definitely not a bad remix. It's pretty solid, but I just don't feel it.
The original Coldplay track is far better than the SHM version. So I was a little disappointed. I expected more from these producing giants I guess...Maybe it's just too hard to do a good remix for such an amazing original song, I thought to myself.
Nothing is farther from the truth:
Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Jerry Rekonius Bootleg) by JerryRekonius
This bootleg from a rather unknown guy called Jerry Rekonius absolutely smashes the SHM rework! It proves that the big producers don't always beat the little ones! Jerry kept the acoustic core of the track and builds a powerful house track around it.
I've already used it in my last mix, that you can listen to here!

Monday Has Survived | The Rex: Sunshine
I've discovered this gem a couple of months ago, and now it's time to share it with you! The Polarsets are a new upcoming Indie band, that combines a dance vibe with classic indie elements. Already in my monthly top 10 of April, this track is sure to end up high in the top 100 at the end of the year! Check it out:
Fairly unique, this track almost sound like an house track. If you need a energy boost, just go to your local download store, and reel in this big catch!

Monday Has Survived: How a simple concept can have a complex impact
The track that I will be talking about this monday, has been released a couple of hours ago. To be honest, I completely forgot about the track until I came across the release announcement on the web today. But as I listened to it again on Beatport, I remembered why I was so excited about it, a month ago. The track I'm talking about is Arty's "Kate".
As you can hear, the melody is quite easy to the ear, almost mesmerizing. It's one of those rare musical pieces that you can always put on, whatever the occasion.
Definitely my track to start the week with!

Monday Has Survived: Love
I'm going to be honest. I didn't like Avicii at first. But after a few tracks, I see through my own cynicism! I've been enjoying his productions ever since! This song has it all. Vocals, synths, stabs, violins ect. I'm normally against the commercialism of music, but I'm really hoping this one gets radio time!
Close to perfection!

Monday Has Survived: Pull Yourself Up!
Most of you are probably back from your holidays now, and rebooting from fun to workmode. I know I am...I need to get up pretty early for mine, and sometimes it's hard to start the week knowing you'll need the beat the sunrise to get on time.
I believe that a calm, but energetic, wake up call is the key to a solid progressive working day (Besides 20 cups of coffee). I couldn't think of any better track than Michael Cassette's "Pangaea"!
The track starts off pretty awkwardly, but if you listen to the rest of the track, you'll come to understand that that's it's grandiosity. More and more pieces of music are added while the track is progressing. A new synth here, an extra bassline there: the track slowly evolves into a melodic beauty. If this doesn't bring you a peacefull morning, nothing will!

Monday Has Survived: U Can Dance
A lifetime inspiring record for me is this single by "Dj Hell".
When I first saw the name of the artist, I instantly thought it was an hardcore track. I immediately lost interest and I looked further on the iTunes Store. Then suddenly I came across it once again. I gave it a spin and to my surprise, it turned out to be an incredible house track.
The track taught me to stay open for everything, and try to be as least judgmental as possible. Since that day, I've learned to know a lot of underground artist, which I listen to everyday.

Monday Has Survived: To Feel Alive
Alive by Dirty South and Thomas Gold is such a track. A track that's worth waiting for. A track that negates every basic successful formula for a monster track and chooses it's own path of glory.
