The former Danish duo, Djuma Sound System is pretty much ruined because of a ten second sample.
"Les Djiins was an old track from the trio and made them a handsome amount of money at the time when they were with EMI records.
But apparently they didn't told EMI they sampled the opening ten seconds from this track:
It was found out and was brought to court: 1 Million Kroner (183,160 dollar). It seems the music industry is getting less and less sympathetic over the years.
